I am using TwonkyServer since many years and I love it!
But what I am missing is a renderer for linux, especially for music. I don´t want to turn my TV on to listen to music, but my amplifiers are connected to the linux-based HTPC.
For the moment, I am stuck with GMediaRender which is very old and does not work really well (no feedback about current playing position, end of track, etc., logfile is full of warnings and errors, software has not been maintained for 5 years).
Are there any other DLNA users who would love to have a linux daemon that renders music, and possibly video and pictures/slideshows, and has good DLNA protocol support, stability and performance? I expect this from Twonky and certainly would buy it if it was available.
