Samsung TV problem

Hi to all,
I've been using Twonky for about 10 years now very successfully though a Lacie media player.
I recently bought a new Samsung KS8000 (UK model) 4K TV and was very pleased to discover that it found my network straight away and has so far played all my movie files from my PC very well indeed (something that my previous TV could not do).
The only slight niggle that I have is that when I stop the file that I am playing, instead of it resuming from the point where I left off, it starts from the beginning again, which is something that I never experienced when playing through the Lacie box.
Do you guys have any ideas if I can resolve this small issue?
