I think this is a false-positive because of the network scanning that we do, but I've asked them to double-check. There must be some way we can report this to Trend, so they can resolve it.

Sending HD video over Wi-Fi is often problematic. If you're tablet is not close to your access point data rates will drop. Consider a repeater if you think this may be happening. I am not provided with any NAS installation instructions. In addition, we don't have most NAS available here at this location, so we can't try these. We provide these as a service to our very advanced users who are normally able to get them to work. You might try searching the forum for instructions...

I suspect the Servio is transcoding your files. Please provide me with a few specific examples of codec and file extension combinations which are not working. Make sure these files are listed as a supported format with your device.

We were able to reproduce the problem you are seeing. It should be fixed in TS 7.0.10, which will hopefully be released in the next 4-5 weeks.

Although I could be wrong, I don't think this model lets you push media to it. I have a similar model at home and it PULLs media fine, but can't accept PUSHED media. We have a Sony BDP S390 here at work and that seems to accept media beamed from Twonky software (mobile or computer).

Since their XIOS series runs Android, that is probably the easiest way to get started -- as long as they will allow you to access the Google Play market. It seems like you might have a problem with corrupted media files which is causing problems with the file scanner. Can you identify which file it's stopping on and send that file to me for testing?

I'm unaware of any NAS that have enough power to do real-time transcoding or video without problems. MyBookLive is NOT capable of transcoding.

There is no longer a setting for this, but you can probably disable this in the client.db. I've asked an engineer for suggestions how to do this and will post the response I get here.
