My ReadyNas Duo is running for more than a year now without any problem hence I never bothered to go to the Forum or to the Netgear site.

I see that the 5.0.68 is made for the Sparc machine. Is my ReadyNas Duo a SPARC machine?

I have no issues playing FLAC on my NP2500. I only have FLAC files.
What Twonkyserver and NP2500 versions are you using? Are you using the latest?
You may also want to look at the way these FLAC files are tagged? I know there were some problems there.

Thanks Brian, I guess these versions do include the 'navigation menu set-up through XML' and do not longer have the simple Config menu for setting the navigation Tree? If that's the case, I will rather stay with my old version of my server, until this is fixed (if ever :).

Late answer.
I have my NP2500 connected to Twonky 5.0b running on a Netgear Readynas Duo.
Not had one problem in one month.
I do also use Ethernet.

Can you browse your music using the Twonkymedia browser?

So you need a good DAC to make your philips sound good. It's not that unusual, what some may see as a feature, others may have trouble getting to grips with. . Indeed, but as someone said somewhere else, this was a differentiator as the availability of the Twonkymedia server on NAS'. PV could have hidden this or make this available in a 'advanced config...

It was published many months ago as a 5.0b (5.0 beta), I did not face any bug with it (ReadyNas Duo).

Something more has gone in 5.0.46 :( - the possibility to customize "Navigation tree" is not available... So no way to change / customize the tree and order (!) that appears on the client devices.. I will keep my well working 5.0b version then. I can't believe one removed the custom tree ...

The custom tree / navigation menus were a differentiator vs. other UPNP media manager (WMP11, etc.).

In the Twonkymedia settings/config. you can specify the folders it needs to look at the collect the music, video, pictures, etc.

Look at the config page: 'Sharing', in the contents locations you can specify the folders.

As clients, I have Philips SLA5520, Philips NP1100 and Freecom MusicPal (I finally trashed my MP101's...).
I have some times problems with the SLA5520 WIFI.
The NP1100 is far better (in all respect), very good piece of HW.
MusicPal is good as a standalone device and probably the easiest to use.

I am also very interested by the NAS200. Would be great to get a feedback from an owner.
